Measuring and Cutting:
Measure wall and ceiling areas to determine the right size and number of gypsum boards.
Cut boards accurately using hand or power tools.
Installation:
Secure drywall panels to the interior framework of buildings using nails, screws, or adhesives.
Install corner beads and insulation as needed.
Fitting and Alignment:
Ensure boards fit tightly and align properly with studs, ceiling joists, and other framing components.
Trim excess material and make openings for doors, windows, and fixtures.
Finishing:
Apply joint compound to seams and holes.
Tape and sand joints to create a smooth surface for painting or wallpapering.
Repair Work:
Patch holes and replace damaged drywall sections.
Safety and Cleanup:
